Return and Shipping Policy:
All electrical parts are non-refundable unless the wrong part was shipped in error. All returns must be in their original package and in a like new condition to be accepted. No refunds will be given on installed parts or parts not in the original package. Special order items are non-returnable. These items may include springs, hoods, fiberglass and steel, carpets, seat covers, headliners, tires, wiring harnesses, dash pads, or any item that was made to order at your request. Repair Panels are non-returnable for waviness, scratches, or dents. They are a low cost pre-formed panel, and not a NOS product. All returns on parts are subject to a 20% re-stocking fee. If you refuse a delivery because of lateness (e.g. overnight shipment did not deliver on Saturday as you expected, etc.) you will be charged for the shipping and a 20% restocking fee. If you fail to pick up or sign for your C.O.D. package, you will be charged for the return shipping and a 20% restocking fee. PENSTAR is not liable for loss or damages for the parts you order. It is your responsibility to ensure the product is suitable for purpose. Shortages: Open your package immediately. No claims for shortages will be honored after the 48 hours. Damages: Inspect your package immediately. If you fail to do so, you lose your rights to a claim. It is your responsibility to file the claim with the shipper, not PENSTAR, since it is your package. PENSTAR will assist you in any way we can. Please follow all the instructions provided by the shipper. If you have an obviously damaged package at delivery - do not accept the package. That includes your inspection while the driver is present. Back-Orders: Please allow 1 - 4 weeks for back ordered items to fill. If it will be longer, we will advise you at the time you order. Cancellation of Back-Orders: Cancellation of back-ordered items can be made without a re-stocking fee provided it is not a special order item. Used Parts: PENSTAR does not usually deal in used parts, but if we supply one to you, it is in a "as-is" condition and non-refundable. Show Sales: All show sales are final (no refunds/exchanges) unless a product is defective. The customer has already inspected the item at the time of sale.
Instructions for Returning Merchandise and Refund/Credit Policy:
Contact PENSTAR to obtain a Return Authorization Number BEFORE mailing the merchandise back to PENSTAR. No returns are accepted without a return authorization number (R-A). Mark the packing slip or invoice with the R-A number and enclose with the merchandise to be returned. Package the merchandise in the original package materials, if possible, to prevent any damage. Mark the outside of the box with the return authorization number (R-A). No returns are accepted without the return authorization number on the outside of the box. Mail the merchandise back to PENSTAR (see front of invoice for mailing address) prepaid via UPS or US Post Office. No C.O.D. returns will be accepted. PENSTAR will process your refund/credit or exchange when the package is received and processed. Refunds/Credits process within 24-48 hours of receipt. PENSTAR will refund the price of the returned part, not shipping/handling. PENSTAR reserves the right to inspect all returns for defective products and it is at PENSTAR's discretion on return or re-stock eligibility (e.g. an aftermarket part is not defective if it does not look like the original). We do not charge for back-ordered items, unless they are special order items, until the product is shipped. Please check your invoice carefully.
